Tea at the Queen Mary is such a treat! Especially when a famous celebrity sits at the table right next to you! Treat!

The trees to the left of the house caught my attention today. I love their dark spots and light bark. It was quite cold this afternoon. Time to snuggle up!

The Friday before Christmas I thought it might be fun to do a puzzle over the holiday weekend. A puzzle that I now dream of and am far away from finishing.

We spent Christmas Eve at my brother's house. One of his dogs, Pandora is a bit scared of everyone but my brother and his wife. I sneakily snapped this photo while she rested on her Christmas present from me and leaned against my brother.

I spent some time outside the house way past dusk trying to capture photos of the neighbor's inflatable snow globe. When those didn't turn out, I pointed my camera toward my favorite trees and snapped away. Somehow they took on a reddish light in the moon's soft light.

We've had someone in town this week for work from Texas and I've been heading to Downtown Seattle before work to pick her up. This morning due to light traffic, I was about 25 minutes early.

I decided to park my car and snap a few photos of the United States Courthouse which I've always been drawn too due to its beauty. I put the photos up on Flickr and I'm already planning a trip downtown with my big camera to get better shots.

After my Grandmother died, I took this bible from her house. It's old and was a present to Sadie J. Wright on Christmas in 1876 when she was just 16 years old. The inside is brown with ripped pages, newspaper inserts, letters and notes from various people. I'm not sure if this bible is from a relative or something that my Grandfather found in an used bookstore. Either way, I love holding it in my hands and wondering who else has held it in their hands.
