It was the day after my marathon and I was extremely sore. The friend I was staying with suggested that we take her kids to the Pumpkin Patch. I had such a good time watching the kids using the slides and climbing on all the equipment. My friend's daughter loved the slide and spent most of her time flying off into the dirt.

It was my last day in Paris and we decided to visit the local market. It was there I spied the fish all crowded together in an ice bath, staring back at me. The French Markets were a great source of photographic inspiration for me. I just wish I wasn't so self-concious when taking photos of strangers. I never want to offend anyone which makes it hard to get that perfect shot sometimes.
While traveling in the South of France, I was impressed with the creativity of the small shops with thier signs. This is one of my favorites and works quite well for this Photo Friday's theme of signs. Click on the picture above for a larger view.
Last night the snow fell just a bit, dusting the ground with a small layer of ice and snow. The rising sun combined with this dusting provided a nice silhouette of the trees behind my house. Click on the picture above for a larger view.
