Best of 2004

This archway leading to the Paris Louvre is my Best of 2004. I love the way the sun streams across the photo and how the archway shows just a glimpse of one of the best museums I've ever seen. Happy New Year! Click on the picture above for a larger view.

Abandoned

I took this photo on a recent trip to Paris. I was wondering around the Pere Lachaise Cemetary where many famous (and many, many un-famous) Parisians are buried when I spied this abandoned crypt. I like to think the hazy area over the crypt’s cross is the occupant escaping.
