My transfer point for the bus is right near the King Street Station. I love this old clock tower. It reminds me of the yesterdays of Seattle.

SNOW! When I awoke this morning and headed to my race, it was snowing a bit but quickly turned to rain. This afternoon after a very delicious brunch, it started really snowing! I hope it sticks!

It's a beautiful Saturday morning which is surprising after the gloom and doom forecasted by the weathermen. I am praying this holds out until tomorrow afternoon when I'm done with my race.

After work, I headed downtown to pick up my race number for the Seattle Half Marathon on Sunday. It took quite awhile to get through all the holiday traffic but the lights were beautiful to gaze upon.

Thanksgiving Day! The house is filled with dogs, cat and family. Quite a day! I caught Ariana and Pandora in a quiet moment of reflection.

After my Grandmother died, I took this bible from her house. It's old and was a present to Sadie J. Wright on Christmas in 1876 when she was just 16 years old. The inside is brown with ripped pages, newspaper inserts, letters and notes from various people. I'm not sure if this bible is from a relative or something that my Grandfather found in an used bookstore. Either way, I love holding it in my hands and wondering who else has held it in their hands.

I made my parents drive down to Temple Square today. I love the huge buildings built of stone. I may not agree with the beliefs inside the building but I do agree with the beauty of the building.

For the first day in weeks and weeks (but actually feels like years!) we have a beautiful sunny day. Since I'm out of town tomorrow, I'm taking a photo of the sky now.

Destiny is in a poor mood tonight. She had a trying day at the vet's office where she lunged at the cage door, hissed, moaned and pretty much made it hard on herself and brought about a second vet visit. Little Beast!

My streak of knitting with green yarn continues and has seeped into Carrie's knitting. I'm going to teach her to knit socks and she picked up some lovely green yarn to do so.

My best friend is moving away to New Mexico to a place of warmth, a new house and a new job. She'll have fun but I wonder why she can't have fun here where I live where I am. Darn Mot! Always out having fun! Well as I always tell her, you can't catch the wind. You have to be grateful when it blows past you cooling you on a hot day and blowing away the leaves on a cold winter day.

Traffic has been a harrowing experience this week. I think I was late every day not matter how early I left. This was the scene this morning at 8:02 a.m. when I should have been sitting cozy at my desk.

Meg and I went to a magazine launch party tonight in Bellevue. After mingling a bit, having some wine and grabbing our goodie bags, we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory for some dinner. Meg in all her lovely-ness bought me dinner and I rewarded her by snapping her photo outside Lincoln Square. She really is such a lovely person both inside and out though.
